At the third annual Back to School Mass at the Cathedral of Mary of the Assumption, Catholic school alumni, students, families and supporters thanked God for the gift of Catholic education.
Fifth and sixth graders from four of our Catholic schools took a step out of the classroom and into the great Michigan outdoors, enjoying an unforgettable three-day retreat at Our Lady of the Fields Catholic Camp and Retreat Center in Brighton. The retreat gave students from All Saints Catholic, Auburn Area Catholic, St. Joseph the Worker and St. Mary’s Schools the opportunity to meet new friends, foster community and grow in faith and teamwork.

Our Catholic school communities are encouraged to contact their elected leaders during the first annual Impact in Action: Nonpublic School Awareness Week, Sept. 23 through 27. This is an ideal opportunity to contact or meet with your state senator and representative to share the vital role your nonpublic school plays in the community. Join together in this important advocacy initiative to elevate the voice and impact of non-public schools in Michigan!
