Patricia (Adamcik) Middleton attended St. Brigid's Elementary in Midland, MI, and graduated from Regina High School in Midland, MI, in 1971. Hers was the last graduating class from Regina High, which closed that year.

Her favorite teacher, Fr. Kenneth Yaroch, was actually the principal her senior year at Regina. “We all loved his sense of humor and friendliness, and I've been fortunate to have continued to be in touch all these years later,” says Patricia.
She adds, “Attending Catholic schools provided me with a great education and learning environment.”
“I was blessed to be offered a job after I graduated (from Regina) with the FBI in Washington, D.C., located at 12th and Pennsylvania Avenue, just 2 blocks east of the White House and 2 blocks west of Ford Theater where President Abraham Lincoln was assassinated,” says Patricia. “Some days I would step out to go to lunch and President Nixon’s entourage would be driving by. Also, J. Edgar Hoover was still the FBI Director.”
“These were very interesting times (i.e. Watergate) especially for a small town farm girl at the age of 17. At the time I worked there, our building, the Old Post Office, was home to the Washington, D.C. Field Office of the FBI, which later moved to another location. It was eventually transformed into a tourist shopping area and finally purchased by Donald Trump to build his hotel.”
Patricia also worked in Germany with the Department of Defense and finally returned home to Michigan to work for the Veterans Administration in Saginaw. Patricia adds, “I feel so privileged to have had such an opportunity to work in environments that were so interesting and gratifying.”
