A Message from the Principal:
Vince Lombardi once suggested: “The quality of a person’s life is in direct proportion to their commitment to excellence.”
Catholic Schools are committed to excellence, and it should be one of the main reasons to choose AACS. You will experience a faith-filled atmosphere where you will grow as a disciple of Christ where you will be exposed to Gospel values, high academic standards and individual expectations. Come on board for a tour, I guarantee you will want to come and be a part of our Eagle family!
Clark Switalski
Principal
Auburn Area Catholic School, with our parishes and families as partners, empowers each student along their academic journey to develop their God-given talents and build a Catholic foundation to become a lifelong disciple of Christ.
Growing academically is extremely important; however, learning the Catholic faith is even more important. To develop Catholic disciples of Christ, we have Mass or prayer services weekly and participate in numerous service projects throughout each month. In our Level 1 Atrium, preschoolers come to know Jesus through the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd.
At AACS, academic excellence is our standard — 80% of our students test above norms on the NWEA tests. Our small class sizes and additional para-educators offer our students more time with their teacher, which often leads to greater academic success. We offer all of the traditional classes as well as music, choir, physical education, art, Spanish and computers.
AACS offers a number of sports for students' social and physical development in age-appropriate programs, including soccer, basketball, volleyball and cheerleading. Our 5th grade also have the opportunity to volunteer a few times a year at the Good Samaritan mission in Bay City.
